How does an email tarot reading work?
You order via PayPal (or credit card through PayPal’s server if you don’t have a PayPal account). I receive the email with your payment confirmation and question/issue at hand for the reading. I meditate on your question for five to ten minutes, and then I begin to shuffle with your question/issue at hand in mind. I use the energies I feel to help me cut the deck and interpret the cards.

Do you have psychic abilities?
They claim that all of us have untapped psychic abilities, but I do not use mine for tarot readings. So, no, please don’t email me and be upset that I’m not going to tell you where you were born and what you look like and know all your past. I’m not a psychic. I do however carry natural druidic energies and intuition that assist me in divination with the tarot cards and interpreting those cards once drawn based on the information you provide me on your question or subject for the reading.

How accurate are your readings?
I only hear back from about half the people I do readings for online (sadly-so please write me back some time after one!), but those I do hear back from indicate that they gained insight they were able to apply in their lives. I can’t say if my readings were accurate or appropriate for those I have not heard back from either way. So please do provide feedback once I’ve done a reading for you.

How should I word my question/issue?
Keep in mind the more details you can give me about your situation, the better answers I can provide from the reading through interpreting things I might miss or overlook without crucial details. However, even without information the cards can still provide some direction. The tarot is a powerful tool, but ONLY when used correctly. They are not here to tell your absolute future but to show you possibilities of the future and ways to change your future for the better.

What if I don’t like what you have to say in my reading?
The tarot always reveals options and truths to us, even things about ourselves on a subconscious level. Whether we like them or not is not relevant to the actual reading. What is relevant is that you have options (as the tarots show) and you need to make changes so that things you don’t like won’t happen to you.

Have you ever been stumped?
Yes. Any reader who tells you no is either a liar or not reading the cards correctly. Sometimes questions are not worded correctly causing blockage. Sometimes the situation is not yet ready to offer solutions or directions and you must wait until later. When this occurs, I will provide you as much details as the cards permit me to see or offer you a free reading down the road when the cards might be more willing to show directions and options for you.

What if I don’t know what spread to choose?
I can pick the type of reading for you based on your question or subject matter that you are seeking insight on. It may be a spread listed on the site, or it could be one charted out in my many journals, books, and notes that I feel might pertain to your situation better. I always choose a spread that will provide the most clarity in your situation.

If I don’t like what your reading said about me or my situation.  Can I get a refund?
I’m sorry, but no. It still took my time and energy to do the reading for you whether you like what the reading had to say or not.  You can ask for another reading at no additional charge on the same topic/question if the reading I gave made no sense to you.

What can I do to help with the reading?
Stay focused. Keep the question or issue at hand in your mind until you receive the reading back from me. Keep your mind open to possibilities. Be calm and positive and realize even in the worst situations there are always choices you can make for yourself that lead to positive outcomes.

Why don’t you ask for my birth date?
I’m not an astrologer. I’m a druid and a tarot card reader. I do like astrology, but I don’t need your birthday to see your possibilities in the cards. The only time I would need a birth date is if we were to do a birthday reading, an astrological reading, or a reading involving identifying your astrological traits and cards.   Please specify that in the comments section of your order.

Yes.  I have thousands of spreads I can’t even begin to list on this site.  Please email me with what you’re seeking to learn from the cards, and I will give you a list of various spreads that would be fitting for your question/subject matter for you to choose one.

Do you offer telephone readings?
Yes, see live readings above.  They are by appointment only and during limited set hours.

Do you offer in person readings?
No. I work from my home, and for safety reasons and legal zoning reasons I do not offer readings from my home.

Will you mail my results to me instead of email them?
No.  Because then we open the whole can of worms involving physical products and sales taxes and shipping costs.  I’m not currently set up to work with sales taxes (there are none in the state of Georgia for digitally delivered products) or shipping costs.  If you’d like your PDF file printed out, you can email me at heather@druidtarot.com for some suggestions for printing places that are affordable if you don’t have a printer at home.

What tarot deck do you use for your readings?
I almost exclusively use the DruidCraft Tarot deck.  I do have other decks available, but given my Druid spirituality my results are proven to be more accurate in interpretation using the imagery in these cards.  So please do not make requests to use alternative decks when you place your order, as I typically will not unless I feel the need to do so personally.
